This work is an effort to draw attention of stakeholders in the mango fruits value chain on the effects of harvesting methods and fruit size in the postharvest management of mango fruits. The focus here is on effects of harvesting methods and fruit size fruit on the extension of shelf-life and quality of mango fruits. Most farmers pay little attention to postharvest life of produce bearing in mind that the harvested produce are still a living tissue that require proper postharvest management.
