Detailed information

Hypertension and epilepsy are significant predicators of reduced total and disability free life. Epilepsy is the second most common neurological disorder after stroke. It affects 0.5-1% of the population worldwide. Hypertension is an established risk factor for epilepsy through vascular brain damage. Hypertension is also a major factor for epilepsy with other diseases, even severe and uncontrolled hypertension might increase the risk of epilepsy.
