Khmer Temples 2018

Situated near Siem Reap, Cambodia, Angkor Archaeological Park comprises several temples and monasteries which have been built in different historical times of the ancient Khmer empire. While the Buddhist and Hindu architecture has been mostly restored, some archaeological sites have been preserved in jungle-like condition with kapok trees and strangler figs overgrowing the ruins. The selected images give an impression of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei and Ta Prohm.
