Detailed information

This research fabricates three different type of composite material with the methodology of powder metallurgy. In which base material is copper electrolyte powder and reinforcement materials are tungsten carbide, silicon carbide, and graphite. A copper matrix containing graphite, tungsten carbide, silicon carbide are widely used as brushes, and bearing materials in many applications due to the excellent thermal and electrical conductivities, and the favorable self-lubricating performance. This book performs the hardness test for enhancing the mechanical properties, machining operation is also conducted for the output parameter like MRR (material removal rate). In EDM machine electrode is taken in use for Die sinking purpose, for making of the electrode, machining should be done on the composites material according to design parameter; MRR rate should be good for experimental work. This book proves the copper-silicon carbide is best among all of them.
