Margrit Kennedy (1939-2013), world-renowned for hercommitment to complementary currencies, was also adevoted ecologist and women's rights activist. As herchildhood and youth were shaped by the events andupheavals of the post-war period, it was early in herlife that she developed a desire to make her owneffective contribution to social justice.
