Owen's Journey

Owen's Journey is a true story about a young boy's fight against cancer, written by his mum Karen Harmsworth. Owen was diagnosed with Stage 3 Wilm's tumour back in February 2014, when he was only four years of age. The story starts from before diagnosis then onto hearing the devastating news, the treatment, surgery and the rollercoaster of emotions that was endured. The strength, positivity and bravery of Owen during his fight was absolutely amazing. I hope this story will help other families as well as give an insight and, most importantly, awareness of childhood cancer and the devastating impact it has on families.
