Fire Dragon

In 1949, a fireball engulfed a small fishing boat killing Randy Malone's father and causing grave injuries to Randy. At a state hospital, Randy suffered from terrible nightmares of a blood-red seashell attacking his father's boat. Doctors dismissed his rants as delusions. What the doctor's couldn't explain is why Randy never aged a day in the years he spent at the institution. Peter Houston and Beth Sullivan, marine biologists, discover a bizarre sea creature called the Fire Dragon. In his research, Peter encounters strange mutations in marine life caused by illegal dumping of nuclear waste into the ocean. Peter and Beth must uncover the evolutionary misstep, or aberrant chemical broth, that spawned the Fire Dragon. At every turn they learn more about the astonishing powers of the creature and its ability to bestow longevity or kill in a most spectacular fashion. In their quest to solve the mysteries of the Fire Dragon, Peter and Beth are threatened by an outlandish religious cult, ruthless millionaires, a relentless assassin, and a bizarre sea creature with extraordinary and terrifying powers.
