The War of Lost Opportunities

Max Hoffmann (1869-1927) - is a German general and diplomatist, who played an important role in the events of the World War I. General Hoffmann is the most remembered figure among all the German leaders in war during the epoch of the world war thanks to his participation in the peace negotiations in Brest-Litovsk. As it should be expected, the brightest pages in his book are dedicated to the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk.
