Op Art

Starting in the mid-1960s, many fashion designers began incorporating the visual language of Op Art into prints and woven fabrics. This can be seen in the use of simple, bold designs and in intricate combinations of colours and patterns that made garments seem to move by themselves. Often only black and white were used, but as this book shows, many other colour combinations were possible.
