Seasonal occurrence of major insect pests of cabbage

Insect-pests are the major limiting factors in the production of these vegetables. Cabbage has been reported to be attacked by number of insect pests. More than 27 species of insect-pests are reported on cabbage in India. The experiments were conducted during rabi 2013 at farm and laboratory of Department of Agricultural Entomology, VNMKV, Parbhani. Seasonal occurrence of major insect pests of cabbage, their natural enemies and insecticide resistance in cabbage aphid were studied.
