Tribology of Composite Materials

Recently, the use of composite materials has increased in various areas of science and technology due to their special properties, with applications in biomedical, aircraft, automotive, defence and aerospace, as well other advanced industries. Tribology is defined as the &quote;science and technology of interacting surfaces in relative motion&quote;. It includes the research and application of principles of friction, wear and lubrication. This book reviews research on the tribology of composite materials.
