Podrobné informace

This book is for future generation to benefit the most from this research project as they will face the problems of how to feed a more crowded planet. It is also my hope that they would one day realize that education is a weapon to fight ignorance and poverty and a key to open many doors for success. Soil fertility is essential to life on earth. Soil fertility increases the ability of humans of produce food. It is also important in the area of conservation. Plants have different environmental requirements and different soil fertility needs. Plant needs vary according to their preferred environment and evolution. Soil fertility varies not only over wide areas, but can differ significantly within a few feet. Detailed mapping of soil fertility in an area can affect research activities in the development of plants for agriculture and other purposes. It can also affect production of plant materials as well. This research will describe methods used to determine soil fertility in various areas of ICRISAT, Sadoré Research Station.
