Podrobné informace

The Gospel of Success or Prosperity Gospel, i.e. the teachings of the Neo-Charismatic-Pentecostal Churches that state that Christians, saved by virtue of their faith in Jesus, receive material blessings from God and have lifelong successes, is one of the most challenging theological themes of the 21st century. These teachings have become popular in many parts of the world and have a huge impact on the lives of people especially in Africa. This book deals with the gospel of success as propagated by the Full Gospel Bible Fellowship Church in Tanzania, which has been one of the rapidly growing Neo-Charismatic-Pentecostal Churches in Tanzania in the last two decades. Some of the questions dealt with in this book include: Whether faith in Jesus can help someone become successful or prosperous; whether giving tithes brings success; whether rich and healthy people are more believing than poor people; and whether poor people have been cursed because they do not believe properly. It is a useful tool for all those who want to learn more about Charismatic-Pentecostal Christianity.
