The novel features four characters who are pursuing PhDs in different sub-disciplines of philosophy. One of the male characters, Suresh, focuses on attaining happiness in life by being completely detached from lust. Roma's research is centered on exp vices experiencing joy in life while managing all, including lust. Vaishali explores the topic of achieving happiness through the Buddhist Vipassana method, while Uzma delves into attaining happiness through the Sufi tradition.Throughout the novel, these characters engage in serious discussions in support of their respective subjects, leading to a merging of everyone's philosophy into a flesh-based sensual philosophy.
