Podrobné informace

Atomic physics or atomic physics represents one of the modern branches of physics. It is the branch that is concerned with the study of the atom and its structure, including the nucleus and the electronic shell. It is also concerned with studying the interactions between atoms and ions with neighboring atoms or ions, as well as the influence of electromagnetic waves and electric and magnetic fields. The concept of atomic physics sometimes overlaps with the concept of nuclear physics, but it differs from it, as the latter is concerned with nuclear reactions that occur in the nucleus only, while atomic physics is concerned with the atom as a whole. The American authors Henry Simatt and Harvey White dedicated their book "e;Physics of the Atomic Age"e; to this topic. It was translated into Arabic in Cairo more than fifty years ago, and the translation was issued by Dr. Fathi Al-Badawi, which deals with the chapters of the book. The affairs of the atom and the atomic structure, and it also focuses on the nucleus and the nuclear structure. It begins by examining atomic particles and then proceeds to explain their nature and behavior, then treats the nucleus in a similar way, while the authors devote the following seven chapters to the most recent nuclear discoveries - at the time of the book's publication - and they also attempt to explore the near future for studies related to the discoveries. Atomic and nuclear, and this future has now become a reality, and witnessed the fulfillment of much of what the two researchers anticipated, especially with regard to the use of corn, especially in the medical field.
