This aspect is not the aspect of reason and knowledge, nor the aspect of feeling and emotion. Rather, it is the aspect of intention and will. Character is a force rooted in the will, which tends to choose what is good and good - if the character is good - or to choose what is evil and unjust - if the character is reprehensible.
