Werner Sobek: Art of Engineering - Ingenieurkunst

This text provides an overview of the work of the engineer, Werner Sobek. It examines the most important projects of the 90s. The technical innovation of his constructions is documented in his drawings, and large format duotone photographs convey an extraordinary aesthetic impression. His work with steel, titanium, glass, fabric, wood or concrete exceeds the boundaries of what is usual, whilst at the same time, his structures are sensible, logical, simple in their construction and outstanding in form.
