Due to the massive changes having been taken place in the Middle East and North Africa within the past years, the interest in learning and using the Arabic language has increased proportionally.

Jastrow this textbook imparts language skills/abilities for the oral and written Arabic communication. Additionally the learner is introduced into regional, cultural/educational studies of Arabic countries, illustrated by various pictures.
The present textbook is mainly designed for the basic course in academic teaching but can be as well used in language courses of other institutions. Basic knowledge of Grammar terminology in the learner's mother tongue is desired. The CD (may be sold separately, at a price of 59,90 EUR) with audio files for texts 1 and 2 as well as with exercises for vocabulary and listening comprehension complement this textbook thus serving as an important part for extra-curricular and independent learning.
