Over the years, Community Forestry (CF) has been considered as one of the most successful program for improving the greenery of degraded sites, biodiversity conservation and improvement of environment forming local level institutions. The role of research is to find the extent of CF contribution on improving biodiversity and livelihood of community forest user group members. The study was carried out in Kankali Community Forest of Chainpur Village Development Committee, ward number 1-9, Chitwan district,Nepal. Both primary and secondary information were collected through sample plot assessment and participatory rural appraisal. This book helps to understand the current status of existing forest management practices and its potentiality to meet the future demand of people from the vegetation resources available. The book should be especially useful to students, young researchers, professionals in the environment and forestry field, or anyone who is interested to know about forest, biodiversity and its sustainability.
