The author is taken on a guided tour of the House of Prayer, a picture of the Lords Prayer, by a mysterious visitor who explains to him the prayer and how to use it. He is guided as he seeks to become proficient in the art of prayer for he learns that prayer is the language of a relationship and that relationship is one of love. Prayer is the language of love.
