Journey of Healing

A Journey of Healing is both a story of survival over childhood sexual abuse and a journey of healing dedicated to those who are fighting with their own recovery process. Divided into two parts, with the first telling Catherines heart-wrenching story of being sexually abused from nine years of age and the harrowing effects it would have on her life and the decisions she made. The distress continued with the loss of two babies, a crumbling marriage, and the subsequent battle with depression and suicidal thoughts. This is a profound and touching account into the deepest emotions she held silent within her soul for over thirty years. This is her story of recovery. Part two is dedicated to fellow survivors of any form of trauma and offers the reader motivational insight, affirmations, verse and proactive healing solutions. These solutions Catherine gained through her journey of healing and are many and varied. These are recovery techniques she discovered through research, psychotherapy, or personal experience.
