Detailed information

The present investigation "Studies on effect of foliar application of PGRs and mineral nutrients on fruit growth, drop, yield and quality of aonla (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.) cv. NA-7" was carried out during two consecutive years (2015-16 and 2016-17). The experiment studies comprised 13 treatment and the experiment was carried out on 18 year old orchard of aonla cv. NA-7 located at Nursery Farm, Department of Horticulture, Kalyanpur, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and data were analyzed using RBD design with tree replications. The present investigation revealed that the maximum per cent fruit set, per cent fruit retention, per cent fruit yield per plant, fruit length, fruit width, fruit weight, fruit volume, specific gravity, fruit pulp weight, per cent fruit juice, fruit pulp/stone ratio and fruit stone, total soluble solids, acidity, ascorbic acid, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar and total sugar with the foliar spray of 50 ppm GA3 + 50 ppm NAA followed by 25 ppm GA3 + 25 ppm NAA and minimum in control (water spray) during both the years of experiment.
