Detailed information

In the present scenario demand for tall buildings and tall structures are increasing day by day and many buildings have irregularity in terms of plan and elevation to satisfy architectural needs which may lead to irregular distribution in their strength, stiffness, and mass. The main objective of the study is to perceive the dynamic behavior of different shape of structures with and without the shear wall in the seismic zone (IV). The analysis is carried out using the software ETAB-15 by response spectrum method. The parameters considered are Displacement, Storey drift, and Storey stiffness. Three models were analyzed that is Rectangular shape, L shape and C shape with and without the shear wall.
