Invention of New Jersey

I like his poetry because it takes me into another world, one where wit conquers the pain of inadequacy and the sur-beautiful covers up the dingy hopelessness of reality. The test of a poet, for me, is whether or not he can take you into his own world, his own creation, and fascinate you enough to stay there a while and savor the poems. i think Jack Andersons poetry is a true record of an imagination.Diane Wakoski
