This book is a research study of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. Indian govt. has taken many initiatives to bring equity and equality in education. One such step is starting of Katurba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. In this residential school girls of backward community get admission. Here they get all opportunities for all round development.They are provided also training for self-defence and given opportunity to participate in games and cultural programmes. These skills make these girls empowered and they become ready to play their role for nation building.
