Detailed information

In many situations, the wind mills are at peak load and the production of power is maximum. But from February to May, the wind energy drops to a minimum extent as possible. In order to utilize the minimum power obtained in those days we have planned to amplify the minimum energy obtained from the wind source by mechanical means to the maximum extent as much as possible. Our plan is to receive the power from the wind turbine through a shaft and this shaft is connected to another shaft consists of a flywheel. When the shaft rotates, the flywheel stores the energy, due to the fluctuation of wind speed in the direction opposite to the rotation of the shaft. When the Wind source drops to nearly zero, the rotation of shaft stops and the flywheel releases its stored energy which again results in the rotation of the mounting shaft. By this project we can continuously utilize the wind mill all over the year.
