Detailed information

Plastic bags are non-biodegradable materials and consequently harmful to the environment. Despite that, plastic is light and easy to make hence the increased production across the globe. This study was conducted in the aftermath of Kenya's ban on plastic bags to analyze how traders have complied with the ban. It, therefore, reports on the assessment of compliance levels among traders who were most affected by the ban. Further, it proposes how plastics can sustainably be managed while highlighting insights from different nations through case studies to analyze Kenya's situation.
