Different type of neuropsychological or neurobiological impairments or difficulties, which are collectively described as "learning disabilities". These problems persist beyond elementary and secondary school into post-secondary and even into the workplace. Children who have difficulties in school are neglected and ignored in the current school system. When the problem becomes as acute as to interfere with the learning process and affects the child performance in reading, writing, arithmetic and other areas. Environmental factors are conditions in the home, community and school that adversely affect the child's normal development socially, psychologically, and academically. Parents and teachers can help by structuring tasks and environment for the child in ways that allow the child to succeed. They can find ways to help children build on their strengths and work around their disabilities. As a result, individuals with learning disabilities will require ongoing accommodations, supports and services in order to be successful.
