Detailed information

This research work is entitled: "Pluriactivity and organization of agricultural work in Babadjou (Cameroon): the example of young farmers and motorcycle transporters". We analyze the strategies deployed by young farmers - motorcycle taximen of Babadjou to carry out their double activity. Our question here is: how do young farmers-motorcycle taximen organize themselves to carry out their two activities? The hypothesis that they implement several strategies based on the management of time, human resources and agrarian practices and chosen according to their expectations was formulated. The theory of work psychodynamics and that of adaptive behavior were mobilized and used to develop a model for analyzing the organization of the work of pluriactives. The results show that in order to organize their agricultural work, young pluriactives in Babadjou deploy a variety of strategies related to the management of time, human resources and agrarian practices.
