Detailed information

Many people are suffering of temporary or permanent disabilities due to illnesses or accidents. For cases of difficult or impossible walking, the use of an Electric cycle is becoming essential. Manual handicap vehicles are satisfying for most of the low and medium level disability case where patients can use the electric cycle independently. However, in severe cases, it is difficult or impossible to use handicap vehicle independently. In such cases physically disabled person often lack independent mobility and rely on somebody else handle the wheelchair. To overcome this problem in our work we had proposed an electric drive attached to handicap vehicle, which transform normal handicap vehicle into an Electric three-wheel cycle, and makes its operation simple. Then the system makes use of batteries to drive the electric cycle instead of using engines, which consume fuel; thus, our system is eco-friendly. The Electric cycle designed to automate handicap vehicle and thus achieve efficient and easy transportation medium to patients as well as physically challenged persons.
