Doing Business While Advancing Peace and Development

The United Nations Global Compact, as a multi-stakeholder leadership initiative, seeks to align business operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and to catalyse actions in support of broader UN goals. This report provides illustrative examples of how companies from a variety of sectors are positively contributing to peace and development in conflict-prone or post-conflict operating environments.
