Detailed information

The greasy or black cutworm, Agrotis ipsilon Hufnagel, is the principal cutworm species associated with numerous crops in Himachal Pradesh, causing considerable damage to vegetables, ornamentals, and field crops. Several pesticides are used indiscriminately to control this pest, which has resulted in the development of insecticide resistance against this insect, lowering control efficacy. The use of bio formulations or biopesticides for pest management in organic farming is becoming increasingly popular. So, in this book, we've attempted to provide knowledge on several bioformulations for the control of lepidopteran pests. For plant protection researchers, extension workers, postgraduate students, and research scholars, this book will be a valuable resource.
