SYNOPSIS:Two galactic civilizations clash disputing territory that includes a seemingly worthless planet in the middle of an ice age. MORE ABOUT THE BOOK:A Winter Of Empires is a novella-length story that deals with themes surrounding global warming - artificial intelligence - globalization - and the reasons behind war. What better way to present a clash of ideologies, in the science fiction genre, than with an homage to BOTH Star Wars and Star Trek? While it is a homage to both Star Trek and Star Wars this is NOT a crossover. It is a whole original science fiction story with original characters, settings, and ideas.
