Detailed information

The book is aimed at climate change strategy (policy) and model using dynamic programming of finite Stage- markovian decision theory (FMDT) for an optimal solution in river basins, southern, Nigeria. The work recommends to the federal government of Nigeria for the realization of her proposed vision 2040 as follows, there should be a river basin regulatory council for the implementation and the use of markovian decision models for the regulations of climate change as it affects Nigeria, green energy council should be set up to encourage sources and use of green energy, as this will help to balance the ecosystem and the water cycle. The work contributed to knowledge such that, the computational difficulty, so prominent in dynamic programming refers to as the "curse of dimensionality" had been solved by the new inventory model of simulation modeling in markov chains, the features and capabilities of the model provided a powerful engine for realistically simulating the risk and reliability of complex engineered systems like the river basins.
