Detailed information

ABOUT THE BOOKThe book attempted to throw light on the Paradigm of Social Media usage on reading habits and writing skills of undergraduates in Nigeria. The study looked at the influence of Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram usage on reading habits and writing skills of undergraduates in Nigeria. The Authors practically outlined the positive and negative aspects of social media usage on reading habits and writing skills of undergraduates in Nigeria. Based on the findings, the study recommended that, Undergraduates must realize all the potential harm from excessive use of social platforms and responsibly approach the learning process and academic results; the use of Social Media among undergraduates should be adequately monitored by lecturers because of its observed negative influence on reading habits and writing skills and students should be encouraged by their respective institutions of learning to utilize social media platforms in a manner that will promote their academic activities positively, thereby creating educational groups and see how to use that to enhance their academic growth and worth.
