Throughout this thesis, we have tried to answer the main question: what is the place of business tourism in the development of the territory? Several approaches to territorial development exist. However, within the framework of this research, we speak about economic development and notoriety. The business tourism sector generates significant economic benefits for the territories: hotels, restaurants, infrastructure rental, transportation, etc. Business tourism activities also allow to fight against seasonality and generate a leisure tourism activity. In some cases, it can also encourage the installation of companies in the territory. If business tourism benefits the economy, it also benefits the reputation of the territory. Indeed, generally speaking, participants in corporate events intend to come back and discover the destination with their families. Conferences and seminars add value to the city.
