This book was written by a group of writers: Abdel -Gawad Abdel Mutaal, Muhammad Atef, Muhammad Nassar and Ahmed Ibrahim. Through it, they presented a general picture of the state of the Arabic language before and after Islam, its capacity to write down science over its abundance and difference, and its preference over the civilization that prevailed in all Islamic kingdoms during its greatness and breadth. It is a message addressed to high school students to guide them towards the aesthetics and authenticity of the Arabic language, so they followed their work with selections of systems and prose, and translations of some famous poets, writers, preachers, scholars and philosophers, whose marking in Arabic literature across various ages. The book dealt with the characteristics of the Arabic language and its literature, and presented explanatory explanations for it, in different fields, of rhetoric, poetry, prose, and various sciences and knowledge that flourished by the conscience at the time. This was a period before Islam, and then standing with the effect of Islam on the language at the height of its spread until the Abbasid era, as the book shows the exploits of Islam on the language and its literature, in terms of spread, refinement, and other preferred that in most of its face over the art of rhetoric and poetry.
