Detailed information

The Romans have long struggled for the independence of their nationality and national identity, which they were trying to adapt or even try to blur. Initially, the Roman language of Latin origin was influenced by deep Slavic effects from the surrounding peoples, then the Turkish occupation, which lasted for centuries and left its effects in the language and culture that almost disappeared under the weight of these successive Western waves. However, the Roman intellectual had the last word to revive the authentic identity by reviving the heritage and great interest in Roman literature and its development to catch up with international literature. "Mohamed Mandour" in this book reviews some texts of Roman literature in its various schools that monitor political, social and economic changes in Romania after the Second World War, with a brief presentation of the most important pioneers of the short Roman story and its elders.
