The book is a stream of consciousness examination of the female experience of a baby boomer reared as a military brat, as revealed by her quilting history.About the Author:Shannon Smith is the descendent of several generations of Pennsylvania quilting women. She graduated from Penn State with degrees in English and Education, which led to a variety of work experience throughout her life, including journalism, teaching, and computer programming.
