Following the disruptive nature of the Internet globally, particularly the advent of social media as a contemporary marketplace cross-cutting stabilizing, and the ubiquitous moderating role of Electronic Commerce, in recent years, the Zimbabwean government has responded with robust cross-cutting policies to embrace the fundamental shift from archaic methods doing businesses adopting the contemporary ease of doing business. The Transition Stabilization Programme (TSP) (2018-2020), which focused on stabilizing the economy and creating a conducive environment for business. The National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1) (2021-2025), which outlines the government's long-term vision for the economy and includes specific targets for improving the ease of doing business.In addition, the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) (2026-2030), which builds on the achievements of NDS1 and sets even more ambitious targets for improving the ease of doing business.
