Detailed information

There exists a pressing need for greater understanding among the world’s diverse peoples. Once people gain an appreciation of each other’s language and history, they may use this foundation to help construct a more peaceful, harmonious, cooperative and equitable world. But how do they begin to work toward this goal? China proposed the Community of Shared Future (CSF) in 2013, which has become a framework for all countries to collaborate in order to create a better world. Under the framework of the CSF, the BRI, and the three major global initiatives have been proposed respectively. The BRI and the three major global initiatives have been supported and praised by the majority of the world. Almost all African countries that maintain diplomatic relations with China have signed the BRI cooperative pacts with China. However, the United States and other Western countries are not willing to see a rising China in the international community. Thus, the West needs to gain a better understanding of them. The BRI and the three major global initiatives are not empty slogans. It is pivotal for China to form a system of global governance that takes concrete actions and benefits other countries.
