Geographical Information Systems

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the  5th Latin American Conference on Geographical, Information Systems, GIS-LATAM 2024, held in Mexico City, Mexico, during September 2-6, 2024.

The 14 full papers  were thoroughly reviewed and selected from 35 submissions. The papers focused on the following topics: Sustainable Energy and Resource Management, Environmental Monitoring and Management, Public Health and Social Issues, Education and Technology in GIS, Climatic Patterns and Natural Disasters.
