Detailed information

Intercession as one of the models of restorative justice is very high light in Rumi's works. Rumi was a mystic, jurist, theologian, and poet. He is one of the most popular poets writing of love and peace and mystical spirituality in the world.Considering the non-negation of formal criminal justice system in Rumi's works, the maximalist approach is compatible with Rumi's restoration teachings. Rumi's practical procedure shows his effort to forgive the offender even after accepting the intercession. Based on the summarization and processing of intercession with a restorative reading in Rumi's works, a 9-step process was obtained. This comprehensive and independent model can be very effective along with other restorative justice models to achieve the goals of restorative justice.
