Introduction:The implementation of telemedicine in Tunisia has met with little success, and very few studies have focused on the subject. Our study aims to assess the knowledge, attitudes and practice of Tunisian doctors towards telemedicine. Methods:This was a descriptive cross-sectional online study of knowledge, attitudes and practices carried out during October2022.Results:A total of 243 doctors were included. The majority worked in the public sector and were medical specialists.More than half the doctors (59.3%)had a low level of knowledge of telemedicine.Concerning the evaluation of attitudes, the majority of respondents(89.3%)had a moderate or high score of perceived benefits.More than three quarters of respondents had a moderate or high score of perceived compatibility of telemedicine with their practice. The majority(93%) had a moderate or high attitude regarding willingness to try telemedicine practice. Conclusion:The positive attitude of Tunisian doctors towards telemedicine and their willingness to try it in their future practice are encouraging for its implementation.
