Detailed information

The word quality is now well known around the world and this is no more an abstract idea or a marketing gimmick to sell the product. Businesses around the world have been following quality practices for more than fifty years and the standards, procedures and institutions are well developed now. Many businesses in manufacturing sector, most of which are subsidiaries of multinational companies, are following quality policies and have developed procedures to achieve it. Same is not the case for everywhere in the world. This is due to the unawareness of an Integrated Approach to Quality and Productivity that will result in enhancement of Business Excellence. There is a need to develop a business excellence model that derives firms towards a new approach of quality and productivity. This integrated model would develop operational linking strategies to deal explicitly with confidence towards simultaneous maintenance and continuous improvement of business process to enhance stakeholder's value. This model would thus facilitate Firms to produce products/services that meets Customer Satisfaction.
