Detailed information

The book documents, the selected probiotics, L. sporogenes, B. subtilis and S. cerevisiae on individual and combined from at optimized concentrations were found to be enhanced the survival, growth, nutritional indices, tissue biochemical components and energy utilization of reared prawn M. rosenbergii. Therefore, it is recommended that L. sporogenes, B. subtilis and S. cerevisiae can be used as a feed additive of supplementary material in formulated feeds for enhancing the growth and production of M. rosenbergeii PL. Thus, aquaculture of Macrobrachium can be promoted in a sustainable manner at grow out level.
