TradeCAN 2002 is a powerful CD-ROM designed to analyze international, national and regional competitiveness in commodities and manufactured exports. The source of TradeCAN data is the COMTRADE database, the official database maintained by the United Nations Statistical Office. CAN - Competitive Analysis of Nations - allows users to calculate market shares for each three- or four-digit SITC export for 1985-2000 and record changes in market share and market structure. It has integrated country comparisons, and several tools to analyze the data and to prepare reports rapidly. It also has facilitation of the calculation of market ""positioning"".
