Gustav Mahler: V 2: Wunderhorn Years

A second volume on Mahler which surveys his first four symphonies and the influence of figures as diverse as Freud, Bach and Berlioz. The author holds the medal of the International Mahler Society, and also received a Royal Philharmonic Award for his co-editing of "Britten's Letters and Diaries".
