Packed with activities including colouring, cutting and pasting, this book should engage creative kids both big and small. Taro Gomi provides readers with the bare bones of a sketch or outline, which they are then encouraged to expand upon by means of an instruction at the top of the page. For example, the outline of a fish tank is accompanied by the suggestion to "draw a fish"; disembodied heads, hands and feet require bodies and clothes; empty speech bubbles beg to be filled in; masks and boxes can be coloured in and cut out.
