Detailed information

In this book role of different native trees was estimated which play an important role in mitigation of particulate matter 2.5. Real time monitoring was done to gather data. Instruments were installed inside of tree canopy and fifty meter upwind and after that data was compared to check out the role of trees in PM reduction. Those trees which have broad leaves, feathery cuticle and have more number of stomata are more effective than those which have small leaves with less stomata. Trees are best filters for pollution reduction.
